Rockford Fosgate, the industry leader in high-performance car audio systems, announced that the updated and expanded 2013 Prime Series amplifier line is now shipping.

"Our goal with the 2013 Prime amplifier line was to make them more installer friendly, better performing, and to make every model have a consistent cosmetic look." explained Theresa Hephner, Rockford's senior director of product development and marketing. "After a tremendously successful launch at our recent 2013 Product Showcase, the feedback was that our dealers were excited to get these into their stores and in to customers' cars."

The purpose-built Prime Series features a line with a common chassis design that boasts a significant increase in thermal mass per square inch, top mount controls (crossover, phase, input switch, gain control, and Punch EQ), and included Punch Level Control (in select models). The six new models also accept signal from low level sources via RCA or from high level speaker inputs via the included connector.
