I have a single sub that is dual 2 ohm. I want to run my T1500-1bd at 1 ohm, so I took the speaker wire, ran the positive and negative from the amp to one side of the woofer, then took two sections of wire and jumped each positive and negative to the other side of the woofer. Was this the correct way to wire it? Thanks!

I knew to wire them in parallel, I just didn't know if the power from the amp was supposed to go in the first coil and get jumped to the second and the ground from the amp go to the second and get jumped to the first, or if what I did was fine, running amp to first coil and jumping both to the second coil.

your amp has two outputs doesn't it? if it does its wired parallel internally so you can wire each voice coil to its out output one to output A and one to output B or you wire it as in the photo and just wire it to output A

Thanks guys! I was really wondering about the two outputs on the amp LovellsZ, and I was curious if I could do that, thanks for the help with that, now I know how that works :) However, it's a 10" woofer with a 50 lb magnet, and since Ocean says what I did is fine, I'd rather not mess with pulling that b***h back out if I don't have to lol.

We've been getting a lot of questions about amplifiers with A & B outputs, so I created an illustration to help understand the issue.
