Ok, I didn't know if I should put this here or in the amp section. I have an 07/08 p1000.1bd can I use this to push one p3d412 at 2ohms in a sealed box? if so what should I set the punch EQ and variable crossover at.
yes you can. i have the same amp and at 2 ohms it puts out approximately 500rms. i wouldnt set the punch eq very high but i have mine set at about a quarter turn above minimum. the crossover is based on your personal preferance. a general rule of thumb is to keep it at or below 80hz for subwoofers. i have mine right around 65-70hz and i think it sounds better than at 80hz but then again, im a fan of deep bass. id leave the subsonic filter in the on position as well.
