I have just hooked up a 3sixty.2 to my system, I have the front right/left and rear right/left and the sub channels going to the 3sixty. I tapped in before the stock amp. I left the center channel hooked up to the stock amp mainly for phone and other factory options. After I run the OEM integration software my rear channels still sound muffled, like they are getting no high end. The front and rear speakers are the same brand/ Alpine spx17 pro 6.5 components 1 inch tweets I believe. I am running 110 watts X 4 RMS to each component. The front right/left sound very nice after a little adjustment using the 3sixty software.
My question is//
If all channels are summed, wouldn't that mean the front and rear channels would sound the same? or close I know installation location will play a roll but for the most part.
should I disconnect the rear right/left going into the 3sixty so it just sums the front right/left channels?
I did try that with no luck, front still sounded good and the back still had the same sound. it states in the manual to unplug the output rca's I did leave the RCA's attatched to the 3sixty when I did the OEM intagration but i unplugged the rca's from the amp instead. would that make a difference? i will try to just use the frotn left/right and see if that corrects the rear sound! thanks for your reply!
no problem but if you swapped the rcas at the amp with no luck then the problem isnt on the 360 or hu end of it it would be the amp or speakers.
try leaving the front and rear rcas connected properly and swap the front and rear speaker wires at the amp. if its the same then the problem is after the amp if it changes then the problem is either the amp or settings
Thank you for your advice, I will try to swap speaker wires at the amp. I don't think it is the 3sixty, if swapping channels doesn't work i will re-do the OEM integration again and disconnect the rca's at the 3sixty instead of just unplugging them from the amp. I will go over everything again, i am sure something will surface!
