Rockford Fosgate, the industry leader in high-performance car audio systems, is joining forces with legendary racer Paul “PT” Tracy. Considered one of the most successful open wheel drivers in North America, Tracy will debut the Rockford Fosgate logo at the 100th anniversary of the famed Indy500 on Sunday, May 29, 2011 while piloting the #23 Dreyer & Reinbold Racing entry.

"Paul embodies the Rockford Fosgate lifestyle," said Bill Jackson, CEO and president of Rockford Corporation. "He leads an active life, enjoys music and all things motorized. We’re excited to have Paul in the Rockford Fosgate family."

Tracy will sport the Rockford Fosgate logo during the Indy 500 and five other races during the remainder of the IRL season. Off the track, he'll enjoy a full throttle music experience in his high performance vehicles, which will be outfitted with Rockford Fosgate sound systems.

"I'm really excited to partner with such a great audio brand like Rockford Fosgate and look forward to supporting all of their products this season," said Tracy. "I've been a fan of their high-performance equipment for some time now, and I'm honored they would allow me to be their brand ambassador in motorsports. I look forward to outfitting my classic '64 Riviera and '51 Mercury with some of the coolest Rockford Fosgate car audio amps and speakers."

Tracy's high level of energy and enthusiasm serve him well on the track. Now in his 21st season of open-wheel racing, Tracy has earned an impressive record. He was named 2003 Champ Car Champion, was listed among the Top10 in almost every statistical category, including 31 Wins, and captured 25 Poles (9th all-time). He has also served as a TV commentator and star in various automotive TV shows.

Finishing 16th in his first event of the season at The Grand Prix of Long Beach, Tracy will compete for Dragon Racing at Texas, Toronto, Edmonton, Sonoma and Las Vegas.
