The P3D2-12 is Rockford Fosgate's best performing Punch series subwoofer for cars and trucks. The P3 12 inch subwoofers now feature anodized aluminum cones and dustcaps along with unique spider venting to keep the motor cooler than previous versions. These feature VAST technology to increase surface cone area up to 25% and a FlexFit basket for extreme car and truck installations. Best of all, a new hybrid stamp-cast basket offers the best of both worlds by providing super strength while minimizing weight and resonance.

Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide superior heat dissipation (up to 100° at full power levels). Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions.

I have one of these in a 1.8c/f ported box powered by a R500X1D and it sounds so amazing! Not only is it LOUD, but also CLEAN!!! It goes for hours and never falters.

These things are loud
I have these subs in a polyfilled sealed box and they are absolutely loud. Definitely turn heads with two of these on a t-1000-bd amp. Get these things you will not be disappointed. If you are curious on how they sound or what they do, feel free to check them out on my YouTube channel-Pawnstar365. I've never had a single issue with them and they perform just as intended. I will probably not buy from another brand again as Rockford Fosgate has fulfilled my picky audio needs.
Perfect Subwoofer
I installed one of these in the trunk of my car, in a sealed box facing forward toward the back seats. The box is built exactly to the recommended volume, and I gotta say I absolutely love the sound of this sub. Very tight accurate bass, responsive and clear. I have the dual 2 ohm version, have it wired to a 1 ohm total load and feeding it around 700 watts RMS. This thing can handle the full volume range without distorting, playing rock, metal, industrial, rap, dubstep and multiple other genres. Great subwoofer, I'm very glad I purchased it and plan to install a second one too.
